CPA-BEC Study Strategy | Get to Know "How Devrup has got a good score in the BEC Section?"- CPA Exam Tips
The strategy I followed with the BEC paper is that I used to go through the Becker lectures first, then I used to speed read the Becker notes and underline something I felt was important./li>
Then I used to do the skills practise then the MCQ and then the Sims.
I did this until I completed all the modules.
During this process, the most important thing is to keep on reviewing past modules. For example, if you are on your 4th module, make sure to keep on reviewing the first 3 modules.
The best way I found for reviewing the past modules was the unlimited test in Becker where you can give a test on any module you choose.
I found the unlimited test extremely helpful and would try to solve around 30-50 MCQs everyday from modules I have completed.
MCQ's are a great way to learn. Make sure that you know the reason why one particular option is correct and why one particular option is wrong . I use Hammer the Becker MCQs as much as possible.
In the final week of your test, do the mock test of Becker and try to assess your weak areas and work on them. Mock tests are also a great indicator of how you should pace your exam. So make sure you take the mock tests.
Best of luck to all CPA aspirants and make sure to hammer on those MCQ's
