Happy to share that I, Namrata Jain cleared REG with 83. Sharing a few points on how I prepared for the exam and passed it.
Basically, I had no strategy for studies, but I made sure that I’ll schedule exams only when I feel I’m prepared for exams.
Before starting preparation, I noted suggestions shared by our Alumni. Firstly, I focused more on getting concept clarity. Detailed explanations provided in Skill Based videos of Becker were helpful, as they explained a few points which we don’t find in the textbook.
I started my preparation by reading each module thoroughly and simultaneously solving MCQs and SIMs of that particular module. I’ve noted down the important points in the textbook itself so that the number of times I revise the module; I can go through those points as well. In the last few weeks before exams, I daily used to give one or two Unlimited Practice Tests which actually helped me focus on weak areas.
And finally, as suggested by Sripal Sir, I completed my required number of revisions, gave all the 3 mock exams and also gave the AICPA sample test. This gave me an idea of the exam pattern and difficulty level of the exam.
