First Score Release of CPA Evolution 2024
Wed Apr 17 2024

In January 2024, the Governing Council of AICPA, and the Board of Directors at NASBA introduced CPA Evolution, a renewed rendition of the CPA Exam. This updated exam aims to bridge existing knowledge disparities within the profession and empower newly licensed CPAs to stay ahead of the ever-changing business landscape, regulatory requirements, and technological advancements.
Following the CPA Evolution, candidates now must qualify 3 core sections and 1 discipline section to be a Certified Public Accountant. The AICPA typically announces the score release dates for the first half of a new year in December of the previous year and the second half by June of that year (though all dates are subject to change).
Exam Score Release in April 2024:
According to the new CPA format, the first score release for 2024 cycle will be in April. Those who have took the exam of Discipline sections (BAR, ISC, TCP) between January 10 – February 6, 2024, will get their scores on April 24, 2024. But please remember, the exam data files which are received by AICPA after February 6, 2024, will receive their scores in the next scheduled score release, i.e., in September 2024.
Prepare yourself for the next step ahead. As you’re going to get the scores for 1 part of the exam, your next thought should be of preparing yourself well in advance on the Core Sections as the exam dates are coming closer. Embrace the outcomes with grace, learn from them, and use them as stepping stones towards becoming an US Certified Public Accountant.
