CPA Exam Available in India

CPA Exam Update:
In India, CPA Exam testing began on January 1, 2021. Despite the challenges and disruptions that occurred during the pandemic, particularly for exams, which were frequently delayed or postponed, the NASBA, AICPA, and Prometric made a significant announcement at the time. They confirmed that CPA testing would commence at test centers in India from January 2021, providing clarity and reassurance to aspirants who had been uncertain about the future of the exams in India.
CPA Prometric Locations in India:
The uniform CPA exam is administered in Prometric test centers in the United States and international locations.
Indian candidates may schedule to take the “US CPA Exam” in the Prometric locations given below:
- Hyderabad
- Ahmedabad
- Mumbai
- Delhi
- Bangalore
- Chennai
- Kolkata and
- Trivandrum
Candidates testing at any international testing centers should pay the exam administration before he/she schedules with that particular Prometric. For this process, please sign in to the NASBA portal and select the option “International Administration.”
To take a test in India, you must be or become an eligible CPA exam candidate with citizenship or a long-term resident of the following countries:
- India
- Bhutan
- Bangladesh
- Myanmar
- Maldives
- Nepal
- Sri Lanka
- United States
If you have already paid for the international administration process for another test region and wish to move to India, please send an email to iexam@nasba.org with the following information:
