Happy to share that I, Namrata Jain cleared REG with 83. I just wanted to share a few points on how I prepared for the exam and successfully cleared it.
Basically, I had no strategy for studies, but I made sure that I’ll schedule exams only when I feel I’m prepared for exams.
Before starting my preparation, I noted suggestions that were shared by our Alumni. At first, I focused more on getting total concept clarity. Detailed explanations that were provided in Skill Based videos of Becker were very helpful, as they explained points that we don’t really find in the textbook.
I then started my preparation by reading each module thoroughly and simultaneously solving MCQs and SIMs of that particular module. I’ve noted down the important points in the textbook itself so that number of times I revise the module; I can go through those points as well. In the last few weeks before exams, I used to give about one or two Unlimited Practice Tests every day which actually helped me focus on my weak areas.
And finally, as suggested by Sripal Sir, I completed my required number of revisions, gave all the 3 mock exams and also gave the AICPA sample test. This gave me an overall idea of the exam pattern and the difficulty level of the exam.
HOPEFULLY, THIS HELPS SOME OF THE ASPIRANTS.
